Like her famous husband, InBetweeners star Simon Bird, writer Lisa Owens has a flair for comedy.

The Cambridge graduate's debut novel, Not Working, left its publishers Picador 'in stitches' when it was submitted earlier this year, and its witty plot - about a woman who quits her job in order to discover her true vocation, only to realise she has no idea what that is - is sure to be a hit with readers as well when it hits book stores in spring 2016.
